Featured Graduates
Graduates from The Child is Innocent's sponsorship have gone on to college and careers dedicated to rebuilding their own communities in Northern Uganda. Below are just a handful of our graduates who have done incredible things with the opportunity this program provides.
Ocan Allan Morris
Alan was one of the first students sponsored by TCII in 2006 when he started as a freshman in high school. He is now one semester away from completing a bachelors’ degree in Civil Engineering and serves as a mentor and guide to younger students in this program. He is involved in a number of construction and development projects within Northern Uganda and will ultimately pursue a career in Civil Engineering, rebuilding the neglected infrastructure of Northern Uganda.

Wokorac Denis

TCII supported Denis for 6 years to attend an excellent boarding high school in Uganda. He excelled there and went on to win a full government scholarship to attend Medical School at Gulu University. Denis will graduate in one year as a medical doctor and plans to do his medical internship in Northern Uganda where he will be caring for members of his greater community.
Anena Kevin
Fiona Akot
Fiona completed high school thanks to support from The Child is Innocent’s donors. After finishing her high school degree, she has decided to pursue training in Nursing Midwifery. She will complete her midwife training this year and plans to work in Northern Uganda supporting maternal child health!

Okello David Oringa
Sponsored by TCII since 2005, David was able to relocate from an IDP camp to attend a safe primary school and then secondary school thanks to sponsors through The Child is Innocent. Today, he attends Teachers’ college and will graduate in one year with a plan to teach high school physics in Northern Uganda. He has grown into a remarkable young leader and holds a multitude of leadership positions in his school and community
