The Way We Work

The Child is Innocent team is composed primarily of volunteers. In addition to the core staff, the smooth running of the organization depends on the work of other volunteers. There is much that needs to be done to support our operations in Uganda.

Volunteering can be a learning opportunity as well as a chance to contribute in a practical way to the lives of less fortunate children. If you would like to learn more about the challenges of working on African development and in particular about Uganda and its children, then contact one of our team members to see how you can help.

Ways to Help

General support
This can vary from providing occasional administrative support to playing a more substantive role in the organization’s functioning.

Specialist support
If you have training or experience in education, child psychology, non-profit fundraising, advocacy, finance, or leadership development and would like to apply these skills in an African context, then please do get in touch with us.
